Group discussion-70's

When taking my ideas to the group it was suggested that some form of laser lighting would work well within our concept, and would make the exhibition much more interesting to the consumer. It was also suggested that light needed to be thought about much more extensively as we would have to ensure that the artwork is not disturbed by lighting techniques.

The usage of a metal structure was said to be extremely expensive and wouldn't add much to the exhibition itself, and thus I should think more thoroughly about how the artwork will be expressed.

When discussing the differences between 'Aliens' and 'Back to the futures' perception of the future it was suggested by Nicky that our concept should contain an outlook on the future as if we were in the 70's, as the development of money has altered considerably since this decade. With factors such as online banking, contactless payment and paypal being elements in which people in the 70's would never have dreamt of now occurring I feel that this concept could really work.

As sevastopol is built up of what appears to mimic pixels the typeface would be highly suiting to this approach. We again outlined a specific set of guidelines each of us should follow these are expressed below:

-a black and white colour scheme
-sevastopol
-a relationship to the 70's
