As some of my designs expressed minute specks of white I attempt to resolve this by painting over certain sections of the design in blue ink, although I found that the ink dried a different colour.
I attempted to explore with the ink in order to express texture within the Queen's hair a factor in which I found unsuccessful. From this I then began to explore sewing into the actual design (on this image her chin) I found this a strong as it outlined the design, making it appear sharper. I also felt that the subtly of doing this was much more impactive than that of the background sewed design.
