Without thinking about typography or colour, I began to develop some initial formats in which the text may be expressed. As my content to page ratio was sparse and the bilingual aspect took up a large proportion of space I attempted to compress the text effectively without over complicating the designs. I found that I preferred layouts in which mirrored the english and welsh variations, as it expressed consistency.
In order to make my book exciting, I feel that it would be appropriate to express the text in multiple ways, with consistency being made with the mirroring of text. Due to this I will explore multiple ways in which to position text and image upon the pages.
