Bookbinding

During the bookbinding induction we learnt how to bind that of a concertina, saddle stitch and japanese bind. Three binds in which resemble completely differing sentiments.  I personally found the japanese bind the hardest to complete as the intricate pattern was easy to forget, and thus I would like to explore with this bind further within my design work. The saddle stitch was rather straightforward and too the least time out of the 3 binds. The most time consuming being that of the conzentino, as drying time must be allowed.
