Working closely with my research and questionnaire, I began to explore a vast range of approaches surrounding the book's front cover. Multiple routes were uncovered, all in which considered the bilingual aspect.
From my initial ideas I developed some further sketches thinking specifically about context. Some of my favourite ideas being that of a landscape progressing over the day in order to express the different colours of the welsh landscape. Another idea in which I liked was developing my own imagery in a similar style of Kyffin. During the following stages of the design process I will take my sketches to the crit and gather some feedback.
