Surprisingly when looking at graffiti books covers it was highly apparent that a large proportion were digitally produced, and seemed to 'overpower' the cover. The designs are often very messy and contain some form of graffiti based photography. Type used is often harsh and does not represent that of the content inside. The inside content also is very text based and does not explore any hand rendered aspect. In order for my book cover to stand out, I believe a minimal approach would be a strong approach.
