When referring back to my drawings a clear connection is made to that of scalpel art. Although other mediums may be used, a scalpel approach symbolises that of the murder weapon used, and the brutality of the crime. When considering the style of the cover it is evident that a laser cut approach would appear 'too perfect' and would not express the brutality, and anger in which the murder was expressed. As the book has to be expressed digitally this format would still appear clear, ain comparison to de-bossing.
