Thumbnails

Following on from the initial concept thumbnails were derived. An array of design ideas were developed focusing largely upon architecture, key visuals in which the picture house maintains, and events in which have been monumental for the picture house.

Multiple styles were explored such as modernism, and postmodern. Designs were also explored which maintain the same illustrative style in which was highly popular during the 1900’s. This in turn promoting a contextual nature towards the design.

Design ideas in which stood out the most involve that of physically depicting the picture house, as this allows the cinema to be easily recognised. Other ideas in which may be taken forward include historical aspects such as the elephants visit and simplistic typographical designs.
