Inherited vs typographical

Crit

When discussing the two different campaign variations with my peers they suggested that the typographical approach was far more effective. This was stated as the prefered design as the illustrative approach was said to appear childish as the illustrations present a simple block effect. In order to balance this it was suggested that more detailed illustrations could be added.

When discussing the typographical approach, it was stated that the information appeared far more sophisticated and would therefore target the demographic more effectively. It was also stated that the design would promote legibility, a key factor when designing posters. Although this approach was said to be effective it was stated that an added element must be introduced to the campaign in which runs through all the posters. An example of this is a slogan or hashtag. This would in turn link all the campaign pieces together, in turn promoting the cause further.
