Crit

When taking the poster designs to the intermediate crit, it became evident that although aesthetically the designs were strong, some designs did contain information that would be offensive to the consumer. It was also stated that some design may not clearly promote the topic area and thus these must be altered.

'Keep Swiping Right' although relating to Tinder, may have implications towards politics. Promoting political views within a campaign surrounding CHD is not appropriate, and goes against the charities ethos. As a result of this the poster was altered to 'Keep swiping'.

As I was trying to mimic that of youth culture within the design the idea of 'sexting' was highlighted. Although I believe that this poster design would maintain the consumers attention, ethical implications surrounding sexting are questionable and thus 'promoting' sexting within the design would not be correct. As a result of this, the above poster was removed from the campaign.

The phrase 'keep snapping' was said to be unclear and thus this was altered to 'keep snapchtaiing'.
