Concepts
Using the research as a basis multiple concepts were derived. Firstly the physical design was outlined this including the architecture of the picture house. As the physical appearance of the picture house is one of the main reasons to which people visit, this may be an influencing factor.
The second concept focuses largely on typography, as traditional film posters used to mimic this. This could be taken further with the third concept focusing directly upon people's opinions of the cinema. This in turn promoting that the building is part of a larger community.
As research showed a connection towards an elephant, this may be further embedded within a concept. Ethical implications must be outlined when doing this.
The fourth concept focused upon the gas lit aspect in which the picture house maintains, this may also be a key influence as it promotes the cinema as being unique.
As the picture house was developed in 1914 the style of the time could be mimicked throughout the poster, this in turn promoting a contextual aspect.
The final concept focuses upon hyde park as an area. As the area of Hyde Park maintains many terraced houses in which appear similar, this may also be an aspect in which is highlighted as the picture house itself stands out from its surroundings.
