1st edition (1)

In order to gain a greater stance of the book, the original cover was researched. An obvious theme of the tree was used, in order to express contextuality to the novel. Browns, and greens have been used in order to express a natural essence to the book's style, with the black and white expressing the racial tension of the time. Capitals have been used in order to formulate the typography, apart from in the word mockingbird, as this is completed in lowercase, an idea in which would suggest the innocence of the bird, and children throughout the novel. This may also relate to Tom, and his innocence within the book. The general deisgn is simple, with the heading being a key factor, this also applied to the hierarchy of the author's name.
