In order to gather a greater understanding of minimalist design I began to explore ways in which they may be expressed. I found that little or not imagery has been used to construct the design, with a strong emphasis being on negative space and type. I also found that the colour palette used was very limited and doesn't often contain more than 4 colours, a factor in which I should consider when developing my own design.
