Why Georgia Typeface?

I decided upon the Georgia typeface as I felt its characteristics are modern yet professional. The serif typeface originally designed in 1993, was intended to appear elegant on a small scale, a factor that would be appropriate when displaying the wayfinding system on multiple mediums. An example being that of a leaflet. Due to georgia being a serif typeface it allows for an easy legible read, something that is highly important upon a wayfinding system.
