Ways in which young people consume media (my surveys)

In order to gather the greatest understanding possible surrounding how young people consume media, I asked some of my peers which medias they used etc. The results from this task are outlined below.


From asking the intended demographic what social medias they use, I am able to pin point what platforms are most effective. From this it was discovered that Facebook and Snapchat are used most, with a bias towards facebook. 




From understanding the using habits of the internet amongst the demographic, I am able to discover whether the usage of social media would be effective. From the research gained it is fair to suggest that a large majority of the demographic spend over 5 hours on the internet and thus this would be successful. 


When directly asking whether they find advertising through social medias effective, it became apparent that the mass majority of individuals found this an effective technique and thus it should be explored with within the project.
