Ooff inspiration

As the brief listed the following brands as inspiration, these were studied in order to gain a better understanding of the desired outcome.


Palace







  • Four colours used throughout the brand 
  • uses both a typographic logo and a combined logo
  • simple initial variation 
  • clear on multiple platforms 


Helas






  • Range of logos 
  • both a characteristic one and typographical 
  • multiple colours schemes 
  • different platforms 


Neighbourhood





  • full name logo and abbreviated 
  • black and white colour scheme 






Thoughts...

From the brands offered as inspiration, it is evident that there are clear themes relating to the construction of the logo. For example, the brand identity often contains a range of logos including an iconography piece and purely typographical design. These two are often interlinked making for a logo in which encompasses both factors.
