Professional printing

As The Fat Rabbit only have a budget of £200 for 150 flyers, a wide range of companies were searched/contacted in relation to the printing.

Considerations

  • the design must be die-cut due to the shape
  • only one side/one colour

Aura Printing

  • Lamination was added due to the bar environment
  • A 300 matt stock was selected in order to ensure that the stock would be durable.
  • As it was single sided and one colour the price was considerably reduced.

Unfortunately this company do not perforate edges and thus this may be an issue. Although stating this I have a perforator tool and may therefore be able to complete this action myself, saving the company money.

Price

Two prices were devised

500 for £169.66
250 for £147.33

Unfortunately you are unable to request a specific quantity at this printers and therefore there will be more than 150 invites. Although saying this, this may be a factor in which is good for distribution, and is still in budget, this will be discussed with the client.

Better printing

  • 350 silk
  • added price for lamination

Price £109 for 250 flyers

Further price may be added for lamination/spot varnish

Vistaprint

Vat considerations- claim back as a business

  • 350 matt stock
  • lamination

Price £200 for 150-top of budget

Client thoughts

After discussing the printing with the client, she suggested that the first option, Aura printing would be most successful, with a total of 250 flyers being printed. When discussing paper weights/lamination she suggested that the strong stock would be most successful. It was also outlined that I myself with perforate the token.

After tax is removed the total printing cost will be £118 which is well in budget.
