Brief set by
JCDecaux

In collaboration with
Mayor of London;

Tell a story with Oxford Street’s digital billboards to show the world that #LondonIsOpen

Here in London, we don’t simply tolerate each other’s differences, we celebrate them. Many people from all over the globe live and work here, contributing to every aspect of life in our city. We now need to make sure that people across London, and the globe, hear that #LondonIsOpen.

– The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan

Why this brief? Impact on portfolio?

The JCDecaux brief was selected as a substantial competition brief which will be completed as a collaborative brief between myself and fellow peer Calum Cooke.

The brief in question has been selected as it promotes a forward thinking campaign highlighting that London is still open for trade after Brexit. It also promotes diversity, showcasing that London is entrpenueral, international and multi-cultural. In terms of a portfolio brief, the trends presented would suggest an ethical design who is conscious about world issues and has a general interest in the UK's economy and politics.

Why a collaboration?

This brief was selected as a collaboration as a result of the skillset Calum can offer. Having campaign knowledge Calum will help aid the construction of the campaign as well as aiding myself to develop a conceptual campaign in which is aesthetically pleasing.

Time period

This brief is to be completed over a four week period, coinciding with the D&AD deadline.
