Minimal in nature, this book cover design is stripped back to basics, showcasing a consolation mentioned within the book. The two tone approach relates to contemporary design trends.
When showing this design to my peers they suggested that the type should be presented within the consolation making for a more visually engaging piece. They also suggested that more negative space should be promoted, in turn reducing the size of the consolation.
