Developing designs further

Focusing on the idea of the end of the universe, a grid system was implemented in order to make for the concept more obvious. The hierarchy has been embedded in size and colour making the author, Steven Hawking, a key focal point.

The implemented grid system also relates to the sci-fi genre, making the design appear to be set in space.

Using the previous shape, bold typography has been implemented in order to make a more visually engaging piece. To further embed the non-linear context the text represented does not follow traditional locations within book cover design. The author's surname was also embedded through hierarchy as he is the key selling factor of the book.

Again a two-tone approach was developed in relation to contemporary design trends, making the design visually pleasing for the consumer. Negative space was also a key component embedded, making the illustration appear more impactful.
