Applying the logo to the design

When showing the edited version to the group, they stated that I should embed the logo into the design through iconography. This then meaning if the filter is uploaded to other social medias, the brand is spread further.

The generic thirsty planet logo was added although this appeared somewhat difficult to read on the black jumper. The design is also very generic, although it efficiently showcases the brand.

Heart approaches were developed. The first design does not contain the handwritten logo and thus therefore does not successfully express the brand. The second design is very effective, and clearly labels the brand. The heart also shows how compassionate the brand is, as well as promoting the design more directly to a female audience.

The water bottle was explored with, as this initially shows the consumer what the brand is about. Although this is successful, I believe that this stops the consumer from finding out what the brand is and thus does not engage with their website/social media.

Again using the heart design, a kite like logo was developed. This is in keeping to that of the new branded website. The blue designs felt far more effective than the red as they link to the blue eyes embedded within the filter.

When discussing with the group what design would be most appropriate they suggested that the last blue design should be used. This being due to the logo being clearly expressed, as well as the iconography piece being positioned in a way in which it could not be cropped out.
