During the kerning lecture I discovered the mishaps of kerning, and how kerning can completely change the perception of your work. I found the lecture very interesting especially the game 'kern down' which allowed me to manipulate the space within the typeface, this in turn allowing me to not be afraid of manipulating the spacing of letters. I also discovered how the kerning of a typeface can give an completly diffrent meaning towards a word. I shall consider this factor when creating typography based work within the future.
