In order to aid me in my design processes I decided to create some inital ideas. I did this by focusing primarily on shape, trying to make my sketches as uncomplicated as possible. Initally looking at the drawings my articic reelm is drawn towards the Hepworth and Moore statues. I assume this is due to their work being regarded as the highest within sculpture making.
When viewing my sketch ideas I feel that certain ones may work better than others, specifically the much less complicated designs. During the following steps of the design processess I must try to keep my symbol simple, as I have a tendency to over compliacte my design work.
