In order to gather a greater knowledge upon pre-developed illustrations for the picture house, I under went secondary research from this the below designs were discovered.
Although the illustration styles are very different it is evident that they maintain similar characteristics. Firstly they all depict the picture houses exterior, with key elements of the building being included. All designs implement the iconic typeface that depicts the picture houses name. These have all been mimicked to a high standard, although I would suggest that the first design alters the typography slightly. As a result of this I believe that the typeface should somehow be implemented into my own design.
Colour is also key with each illustration using colour in order to portray a certain atmosphere. For example the second drawing is depicted within black and white in order to highlight the mass details present. As a result colour should be highly throughout over when developing my own response.
