OUGD505-target audience











In order to identify an issue in which could be tackled by the medium of a campaign it is highly important to highlight whether a campaign would be an effective mechanism to do so. When looking at the British Heart Foundations campaigns it is evident that the campaigns seem to direct themselves towards an older audience and thus it may be applicable that a campaign is developed for that of a younger audience. As young individuals frequently have heart attacks, and can have CVD. Educating them upon the topic area is also highly important as they may be able to spot signs within older generations.




Designs are often targeted at a 35+ target audience and thus it may be fair to suggest that a younger audience should be tackled. This must be discussed further with my peers to see if this is applicable.
