Ministory Of Sound

Ministry of Sound required a series of posters for their iconic Saturday Sessions night at the Ministry of Sound club in London.

With the London Underground being a famous function of the city, elements of the iconic tube map were brought into the poster to firstly emphasise the club’s location and secondly to create a sense of a journey the night takes you on.

Map lines form the lettering of ‘Saturday Sessions’ and split each night of the month into a seperate route for the viewer to follow. Boroughs and areas of London at the head of the poster connect together at the top of Saturday Sessions to suggest the city unites every Saturday at Ministry of Sound and the classic Ministry of Sound colour palette has been injected into the posters to represent strobe lighting and escapism.

Swansea City of Sanctuary

Swansea City of Sanctuary approached us requesting the design and implementation of an information pack to give to newly arrived asylum seekers in Swansea.

With a strong emphasis on using icons and as little English as possible, we designed a foldable map with a specific bus route map, selected area maps using simple icons to dictate important services and a clear key and list of important numbers and services.

The SCoC asylum seekers project was particularly challenging, due to the minimal English used, but incredibly rewarding as the information pack will make a huge difference to the lives of newly arrived asylum seekers in Swansea.
