Target Audience Feedback

In order to gather a stance upon whether this app is actually viable, and would appeal to that of the target audience market research was conducted. After visually interacting with the app in its primal state the participants were then asked a series of questions, these can be found below. Participants ranged from 20-30, and were both male and female.

Does the app convey itself as part of an apple product?

The results collected were formulated into a pie chart in order to gather a stronger visual representation of the outcome. From the results shown it was evident that the mass majority felt that the app expressed a likelihood to apple. As two people voted 'no', they were then asked to leave a comment. These are expressed below.

Comments:
  • The design would appear more like an apple product if the add symbols were white, as this is how apple currently formulate this sign.
  •  If noises were expressed this may express the details further.
From these comments it is clear that some efforts would have to be altered when completing this app professionally. Movements will be discussed within the justification blog post.

How does the app make you feel?

  • Pleased- as access is easy and simple
  • Safe
  • Knowledgeable about technology
  • tech savvy
  • unsafe
The main experience being wanted from the app is that of being tech savvy and feeling safe. Although these have been expressed there are still levels of uncertainty containing the safety of the app. With an app like this there will always be people being cautious and thus this must be tackled within the promotion of the app.

Would you use the app?

Again the mass majority suggested that they would use the app, this being a highly positive outcome.

What are your main concerns with the app?

  • Security- will my details be protected?
  • What if my phone dies?
  • is a fingerprint a secure method?
  • what if my fingerprint does not work?

Concerns were outlined in order to gain a better stance upon why some consumers do not feel safe using the product.  As the fingerprint was a key issue raised, it may be suggested that in a final version you are able to complete a passcode verification as well. Although this may increase the click count.
