Curved edges are made frequently in order to develop a friendly, safe atmosphere towards the app. The apps used are minimal and effective. Little colour is used, and the design often appears monotone, this creating a design in which is visible at all scales. The design of the icons often include white, with no black lines being apparent. This therefore expressing a clean icon in which is visually pleasing. All of apples icons are simplistic and follow the same block illustration format. No small detail is included as this would not be visible from a smartphone.
