https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBKnIgKRAlA&feature=youtu.be- feedback

Please watch the below video in which expresses a random participant giving feedback upon the product. The consumer does not know myself, is 23, and female. Therefore the feedback given is impartial.

Key feedback given includes:

  • The usage of a QR code, rather than a barcode (as every receipt contains a barcode not necessarily a QR code.
  • The app should contain elements in which link the current page, back to the homepage
  • The receipt storage system was said to be strong, and the participant suggests that they already have a similar app, although the consumer suggests that it would work better as a built in feature.
  • initial landing page appears similar to apple-so do the colours and icons
  • The ID is simple, but obviously laws would have to be put in place to make this a valid form of ID.
  • Multiple options on one page, better than having to search through pages of information.
  • Can easily add cards
  • Secure app-ensure this
  • Easier than paper receipts
  • Feels like a lot of personal information on your phone.
  • Makes her feel confident due to its aesthetics
  • Final version should contain references to the main page.
  • Likes the ticks, and crosses as they feel user friendly and simple

From the feedback gathered key information can be drawn. Firstly the designs must involve aspects in which link the current page to that of the homepage. Arrows may be used in order to express this. Security must be one of the key aspects expressed within the apps promotion in order to allow the consumer to feel safe and comfortable within the app. The multiple aspects within the app allows for a strong concept in which would attract further consumers, even if only one aspect of the app is usable. The initial landing page is clear and easy to navigate. Text contained upon the spreads mimics that of the original apple typeface in which is expressed within all apple products, and clear consistency can be made through this. The usage of ticks and crosses was also expressed as a strong usage, as it clearly informs the consumer.

In order to tackle this, the spreads will contain a reverse button, or will just need to be tapped to return to the main page. This will be expressed within the following mock up.
