Icons became the main focus in order to direct the consumer to the correct aspect of the app far more easily.
In order to make the landing page appear as if part of an apple product, design elements were altered. The usage of icons were explored, with the hierarchy of information being expressed. Spreads in which focused purely upon infographics were explored although it was suggested that these were difficult to navigate. The coloured background was also expressed, with negative space being explored.
Although alterations were made it was still suggested that the layout mimicked that of a windows phone and thus would not be suitable.
Colour was then explored within the apps design. With the background being altered in order to express an apple product. As the current apps design expresses a background in which the iphone homepage is visible, this was mimicked with opacity being a key factor. This in turn adding key characteristics to the spread.
