Further drawings were developed in which attempt to promote hierarchy within the labels design. The sketches also promote different ways in which the label may be formatted. The idea of placing the pattern within the text was explored, although I felt this to be too over complicated. This may also make the text appear illegible. Text was explored with, incorporating different angles, with the vertical and horizontal text appearing the strongest due to both aesthetical reasons and legibility. Designs in which centralised the text appeared most like a 'typical' label design, promoting legibility and format.
When discussing the label design with my peers, they suggested that the best designs highlighted single brush strokes, in order to promote the texture within the products. As a result of this, I will explore with the one stroke effect digitally.
