Meeting with Amy

Before mine and Amy's meet up, I gathered some images of work in which I felt to be suiting to the re-brand. This included patterned work, and other illustrative style.

When discussing ideas with Amy, I suggested that pattern work felt most effective from the research I had undertaken, Amy agreed with this and said that she could explore with multiple methods such as marbling.

We discussed the products in which we were going to re-develop and it was decided that: bath crystals, coconut body polish, sea salt spray, and blue clay soap were the areas in which we were to focus. It was also decided that individual labels will be developed for each product, as well as an individual box. These will then all be placed in one gift box in order to develop a set.

When thinking about the colour palette it was suggested that blue, green and white would be the key focus for the time being, as these promote the nautical theme of the set. It was also discussed that Amy would explore drawing some of the ingredients such as coconuts.


From the meeting it was decided that during the following week we would both undertake different roles. Amy is to develop some illustrations, and I will look into the structure of the bottles/ containers.
