Complimentary colours were explored with, all in which attempt to embed the colours of the LGBTQ flag. Although the text stood out on each spread, this felt somewhat immature, as the constant change of colour removed any continuity within the design. As a result of this it was decided by myself and Erin that one main colour should be expressed through the entire publication. Promoting not only continuity but also the loud and proud nature of the magazine. Erin suggested that the yellow worked most effcetively, although this may be illegible when overlapping it on the yellow background used within the photographs of Hollie. As a result of this, the spread designs must be extensively explored with.
