In order to create a symbol for YSP. I collected primary research including photographs and sketches. I focused primarily on shape and colour, I also took samples of surface texture. As I observed the sculptures it was clear that there was a vast variation of work, this is due to the multiple scales and materials used. Specifically my eye was drawn to the buddah statue, this was due to the vast colours and shiny exterior. My next step within the design processess will be to study my images and drawings in depth and to create some inital ideas.
