Camden Pale Ale
After finding the above packaging for Camden Brewery, it was decided that research would be conducted into this specific brand, how they promote a range of ales and their target audience.
The ales produced by Camden Brewery follow a synced style, in which largely focuses upon typography and block colour. The design is also centralised, ensuring that all variations appear as a set. This is further embedded by the traditionally located logo.
Using the idea of iconic London street signs, the Camden Brewery logo incopirates its surroundings, embedding London within its aetshtic.
- The ales can be preserved/dispatched through a variety of mediums, cask, keg, bottle and can.
- Three tone approaches are used to keep the colour pallete bold and impactful
- Can/Bottle labels are generally the same
- Bold colours have been used to promote taste associations
- Red has been used to embed a typical London aesthetic
- Type is a key influence within their design
- Design often mimicks flavour-this may be an area of consideration
- Colours are generally limited to 3/4 per identity
- The logo is preseneted on all beers to embed continuety
