Looking at atypical approaches

In order to gather a greater understanding surrounding modern mythology books, I conducted some research into their general design focusing upon illustrations and photography.

Looking specifically at atypical approaches to mythology books, I found that the vast majority of photography approaches included landscapes or protagonists in order to display a certain sentiment or ideology, usually that of an enigma. Within my own designs maybe I could conduct a similar approach with that of welsh landscapes, conveying the message within the book.

I also really liked the illustrated approaches, but felt that I may be able to explore multiple avenues in order to gather a much stronger approach.
