Which type?

Although it is fair to suggest there are multiple typefaces in which resemble that of British culture, I decided upon Gill Sans primarily due to the famous 'Keep calm carry on posters'. War propaganda has been highly involved in keeping morale high amongst civilians, as well as the Queen herself talking to her country through radio announcements. As this bank note is celebrating her rein I feel that an important relevance between the two should be noted, and thus this is the correlation between the typeface and british culture.
